Effect of correction surgery in improvement of visualfunction in 60 children with intermittent exotropia

摘要:目的 探讨儿童间歇性外斜视矫正手术的视功能改善效果。方法 选取60例间歇性外斜视患儿设为观察组，另选取同期在本院眼科进行健康体检的60例视功能正常的儿童设为对照组。观察组于术前1 d和术后3个月采用中文版斜视儿童生存质量量表(Child-IXTQ)对患儿进行评分，对照组于体检时评分，观察2组的生存质量和患儿视功能的改善情况。结果 对照组儿童的Child-IXTQ总评分以及社会心理评分、视功能评分均优于观察组患儿，差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。术后3个月，观察组患儿的Child-IXTQ总评分以及社会心理评分、视功能评分均优于术前1 d, 差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。观察组患儿矫正术后的Child-IXTQ总评分以及社会心理评分、视功能评分仍低于对照组儿童，差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。结论 外斜视矫正手术能有效改善间歇性外斜视患儿的视功能，提高患儿的生活质量。Abstract:Objective To explore effect of correction surgery in improvement of visual function in children with intermittent exotropia.Methods A total of 60 children with intermittent exotropia were selected as observation group, another 60 children with normal visual function who underwent physical examination in ophthalmology department of our hospital in the same period were selected as control group. Quality of life was evaluated by Child Intermittent Exotropia Questionnaire(Child-IXTQ) one day before and at three months in the observation group and during physical examination in the control group. Quality of life and the improvement of visual function were compared.Results The total score of child IXTQ, social psychological score, and visual function score in normal vision children were higher than that in the observation group (P < 0.05). The total score of Child-IXTQ, social psychological score, visual function score at 3 months after operation were higher than that that at 1 d before operation(P < 0.05), and were still lower than that of the normal children(P < 0.05).Conclusion Correction surgery can improve visual function and enhance quality of life of children with intermittent exotropia.
