Clinical significance of serum procalcitonin and IL-6 detection in diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

摘要: 目的：探讨血清降钙素原（PCT）及白介素6（IL-6）检测在慢性阻塞性肺疾病（COPD）诊治中的意义。方法采用电化学发光分析法检测160例 COPD 患者（观察组）及110例健康对照者（对照组）的 PCT 及 IL-6水平，并比较2组敏感性和特异性。结果观察组 PCT、IL-6的水平均显著高于对照组（P ＜0．05）；IL-6敏感性高于 PCT（P ＜0．05），而 PCT 特异性高于IL-6（P ＜0．05）。结论 PCT 和 IL-6检测在 COPD 诊治中具有重要的临床价值，但二者在敏感性和特异性上存在差异。Abstract: Objective To explore clinical significance of serum procalcitonin (PCT)and in-terleukin-6 (IL-6)detection in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pul-monary disease (COPD).Methods Electrochemical luminescence analysis was used to detect the levels of PCT and IL-6 in 160 COPD patients (observation group)and 110 normal people (control group),and sensitivity and specificity of PCT and IL-6 were compared.Results Levels of PCT and IL-6 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05).Sensitivity of IL-6 was significantly higher than that of PCT (P <0.05),while specificity of PCT was significantly higher than that of IL-6 (P <0.05).Conclusion PCT and IL-6 detec-tion play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of COPD,but there are differences of sen-sitivity and specificity between PCT and IL-6 detections.
